Whenever a complainant establishes the employer designed an explicit alter to some expression, issue, or privilege of work associated with harassment based upon a secured attribute (sometimes called “quid pro quo,” as described in segment III.A), the employer is liable and there is no protection.228Once the position with the harasser is set, th
